Barbouze de chez Fior

In 2005, four musicians hungry for new musical experiences decided to form a string quartet. They wanted to push the quartet out of its comfort zone, take if off the beaten track, and in collaborating with artists from different backgrounds, provide a new kind of sound laboratory for composers to experiment in. Thanks to their ever-expanding network of musical collaborations (The Young Gods, Pascal Auberson, Love Motel, Raphelson, La Compagnie Eustache, Daniel Perrin, Lee Maddeford, Epheire, Jean Rochat, Roland Vouilloz?), the quartet?s experience in various musical domains, notably in improvisation, has become richer and deeper, and the four eventually began writing arrangements for singers. In 2011, they composed their own repertoire and produced their first solo show, ?Molecular Chicken Stew?.
